What are my next steps?


​Once you have acquired the documents on the Get Started page, contact us to discuss your particular situation.  Again, if you don't have some or all of the documents contact us and we'll help you obtain them.

The next step in the process is to contact us to review the documents you were able to locate. We will then determine which documents you will need to complete the process. We will also discuss with you  the steps that will be needed to achieve your mobile home detitle process. 

Even though the process doesn't change, each particular situation can present many challenges.  

We will take you through the process, give you a time line to complete the process and the fees necessary to detitle your mobile home. 

Each agency involved in the detitle process, whether it be the local government (usually the county in which the mobile home and land is located) or the state government (South Carolina DMV Mobile Home Division) all have fees associated with documents they have to process.

But first....will your mobile home qualify for the process?  Your mobile home must be a double wide, with tongue, axles and wheels removed, on a permanent foundation and have been manufactured after 1976 to qualify.
